In recent years Giovanbattista Pastorelli, a protagonist of deconstructivist tendency, has paid attention to portraits which are really far from traditional modes. In fact the subject is staged in a jumble of chromatisms and geometric signs as well as in aggressive backgrounds due to their bright chromatism. Because of this, sometimes the subject is not even immediately recognizable. This happens even with the unpublished painting that we are publishing. It is devoted to the Swedish-Chinese couple David Wrang and his lady who are friends to the artist and who are active in Sweden with their Gaggs brand.
Mattatore del decostruttivismo, Giovanbattista Pastorelli, negli ultimi anni dedica attenzione a dei ritratti ben lontani dalla ritrattistica tradizionali. Infatti il soggetto è messo in scena in un coacervo di cromatismi e di segni geometrici e di campiture aggressive col loro cromatismo acceso. E così talvolta il soggetto risulta persino non immediatamente riconoscibile. Come è il caso del dipinto inedito che proponiamo dedicato alla coppia svedese-cinese David Wrang e signora, suoi amici attivi in Svezia nella loro brand Gaggs.
